We now know the logos of Polish host cities
On October 27th 2010, Minister of Sport and Tourism Adam Giersz took part in the presentation of the official logos of Polish host cities of the UEFA European Football Championship EURO 2012TM.
The logos of Polish host cities of UEFA EURO 2012TM, bear the Warsaw Mermaid, the Gdańsk Statute of Neptune and the Wrocław Grunwaldzki Bridge. Poznań chose a different, original approach – its logo shows a ball made of colourful stars. According to the agreement with UEFA, the city logos will be displayed next to the EURO 2012 logo.
The logos were presented in Warsaw. The Mayors of the cities concerned, UEFA representatives with the CEO Martin Kallen, guests from Ukraine, led by the tournament director Markijan Lubkivskiy, and the President of the Polish Football Association, Grzegorz Lato, were present at the ceremony.
