Meeting of the Olympic Preparations Council
On 26 March 2012 there was another meeting of the Olympic Preparations Council, whose co-chairmen are: Minister of Sport and Tourism Joanna Mucha, and the president of the Polish Olympic Committee Andrzej Kraśnicki.
The meeting was also attended by e.g. the following: the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism Jacek Foks and Secretary General of the Polish Olympic Committee Adam Krzesiński – as deputy chairmen; director of the Department of Top Sports in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism Jerzy Eliasz; director of the Centre for Sports Medicine (Centralny Ośrodek Medycyny Sportowej) Hubert Krysztofiak; vice president of the Polish Olympic Committee for sports and president of the Polish Federation of Rowing Associations (Polski Związek Towarzystw Wioślarskich, PZTW) Ryszard Stadniuk; chairman of the Sports Commission of the Polish Olympic Committee and the president of Polish Association of Athletics (Polski Związek Lekkiej Atletyki, PZLA) Grzegosz Skucha; and Head of the Scientific and Methodological Support Team of the Poland Club (Zespół Wsparcia Naukowo-Metodycznego Klub Polska) Paweł Słomiński.
During the talks, the Head of the Scientific and Methodological Support Team of the Poland Club Paweł Słomiński discussed the preparation of our athletes for the XXX Olympic Games in London and the rules for qualification thereto. The Secretary General of the Polish Olympic Committee Adam Krzesiński, presented the logistics of preparation for the biggest sporting event in 2012.
