Anti-doping campaign launched

On 5 April 2012 the anti-doping campaign Say No! to Doping was launched. The campaign was organised by the Commission Against Doping in Sport.

The anti-doping campaign Say No! to Doping is a project of global nature, intended mainly for young players. The originator of the campaign is the World Anti-Doping Agency, which prepares and disseminates information and graphic materials necessary for its proper conduct in various countries.

The objectives of the campaign:
• Creation of a new generation of athletes with a definite anti-doping attitude;
• Creating positive attitudes to life;
• Raising public awareness of problems connected with fighting against doping in sport;
• Drawing attention to the importance of educational programmes.

At the launch of the campaign there was a press conference and broadcast of a spot promoting the campaign, the ambassadors of the campaign were presented as well as the new e-learning programme Couch True prepared by the Coaching Academy of the Sport Institute (Akademia Trenerska Instytutu Sportu), the Commission Against Doping in Sport and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The ambassadors of the campaign are the following: Monika Pyrek, Katarzyna Rogowiec, Tomasz Kucharski and Paweł Zygmunt.

Patrons of the campaign include: Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism Jacek Foks, the Polish Olympic Committee and the Sport Institute.
