Poland ready for EURO 2012

A joint meeting of the National Coordination Committee for the Organisation of the Final Tournament of UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship and the National Organisation Headquarters took place on 17 May 2012. According to the adopted schedule on 15 May 2012 Poland reached full operational readiness to stage UEFA EURO 2012TM starting in only 22 days said Minister of Sport and Tourism during the meeting.

Ladies and Gentleman it is no accident that out of 16 teams 13 choose Poland for their base camps this proves that our preparations are managed efficiently and in compliance with the adopted plan said Minister Mucha. – At the beginning of 2008 red marking critical risk in Polish preparations, was the predominating colour in the UEFA reports. Today UEFA gives a very good grade to almost all of the critical elements of our preparations continued Minister Mucha.
During the meeting the readiness to stage UEFA EURO 2012TM was confirmed also by the heads of ministries of health, transport, construction and maritime economy, interior and administration and digitization.
– Prime Minister, on my own behalf and on behalf of other ministers I would like to officially inform you that in line with the schedule on 15 May 2012 Poland reached operational readiness to stage the Tournament announced Minister Mucha.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk admitted that he has been impatiently waiting for this report for four years. – Thank you Minister for your words that Poland is ready for UEFA EURO 2012TM the head of government stated at the beginning. – Hard work of many people has to finally explode with optimism since stadiums and terminals are not the greatest value of UEFA EURO 2012TM, this value lies in the brand and reputation that the people watching the matches in TV and coming to our country will remember commented Prime Minister. He called for work on the “soft infrastructure”, taking care of our image and supporting the Polish team as these are the most important goals at the moment.
– I am convinced that nearly all aspects of UEFA EURO2012TM will prove that today Poland should be talked about in Europe and the world almost exclusively in positive terms. We will also try to convince everyone, both footballers from other countries and fans, that they will play at home added at the end Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
