Egypt invites tourists from Poland
The political situation in Egypt is going back to normal, and the tourists staying there are completely safe - said Hisham Zaazou, the Minister of Tourism of the Arab Republic of Egypt, during a meeting with Katarzyna Sobierajska, the Undersecretary of State, which was held on November 29th, 2013. During the talks, the two sides declared that they would take active measures to promote tourism between the two countries. Among others, study tours will be organized for the Egyptian and Polish journalists and tour operators. It is expected that the organization of the Congress of the Polish Chamber of Tourism in Egypt will be combined with workshops on the Polish healthcare offer.
"Poles never gave up trips to Egypt" - said Minister K. Sobierajska at the meeting. It is expected that the popularity of this trend will again increase significantly as on November 26th, 2013 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs changed the message on travelling to Egypt - the Minister emphasized.
The third meeting of the Polish -Egyptian Committee for Tourism is also planned in 2014. The main topics will be medical tourism, stays in spas and wellness centers, and cooperation in the field of sport (organization of groups).
