European Tourism Forum
On May 16th, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism Katarzyna Sobierajska and the Mayor of Kraków Jacek Majchrowski signed an agreement concerning the organization of the European Tourism Forum. The event will take place in Kraków, 5-7 October, 2011.
The European Tourism Forum will be held in response to the call of the Council of the European Union to strengthen the dialogue between the public sector, the tourism industry and other interested parties. Participants will include representatives of the European Commission, central and regional government administration, local governments, self-regulatory organizations, international tourism organizations and the tourism industry. The purpose of the event is to allow the tourism industry to present and discuss issues of key importance for tourism.
